Youth Chess Program Survey

Our Youth Chess program in Running Springs has steadily grown in popularity over the past three years — and for good reason! Chess is a fantastic way to challenge young minds. Studies show it helps build character, confidence, logic, independence, and critical thinking skills. It can also boost academic performance and real-world problem-solving abilities.

As we look to grow this program, we’d love to hear from you!

We’re exploring new ideas for youth chess programs and want to know:

  • Is there interest in learning or playing chess locally?
  • What types of programs should we offer for different skill levels?
  • Are there kids interested in learning the basics, improving their game, or competing with others on the mountain?

Please take a moment to complete our survey below and share your thoughts.
Your feedback will help shape the future of youth chess in our community.
