MAINTENANCE MANAGER

The Rim of the World Recreation and Park District is now accepting applications for the full-time Maintenance Manager position. As a main Park District staff member, the Maintenance Manager supervises, leads, and oversees all park maintenance employees and is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of public parks, parkways, buildings/facilities, grounds, athletic fields, and other landscaped areas or assets of the Park District. All qualified candidates must posses a High school diploma or GED, one year of demonstrated supervisory-level experience performing skilled park maintenance and equipment operation work and one year of experience or equivalent in the construction field.  PARK MAINTENANCE WORKER

Now accepting applications - Open until filled 

The Rim of the World and Park District is now accepting applications for the full-time Park Maintenance Worker. As a maintenance employee you must be able to work outdoors in varying mountain weather conditions, lift and/or carry heavy objects and stoop, kneel, crouch, bend over, crawl and other physical activities in the performance of job duties for this position. Performs tasks for the maintenance of grounds and facilities.  Sprays, fertilizes and prunes flowers, trees and scrubs; mows lawns; fells trees, Operates power tools and other light landscaping equipment.  All applicants must have a  High School Diploma or GED. RECREATION LEADER

Now accepting applications - Open until filled 

The Rim of the World Recreation and Park District is now accepting applications for Part-Time Recreation Leaders for the 2021 Summer Day Camp program at Lake Gregory Education and Community Center. All applicants must have experience working with children, talking to parents, and administering daily activities/programs in a nurturing yet, fun, and enthusiastic disposition. Existing CPR/First Aid Certificate a plus. Applicant must be willing and able to travel across the Rim Mountain Community for different Park District Program Sites and locations. Position could lead to Recreation Site Leaders for our Before and After School Program in the fall.
