Growing a Garden at the Twin Peaks Community Garden

Twin Peaks Garden Learning Center

The Twin Peaks Garden Learning Center is a collaborative effort between Mountain Provisions Cooperative and Rim of the World Recreation and Park District. Our mission is to provide education and resources about local gardening and horticulture, specifically tailored to the unique microclimates of the San Bernardino Mountains.

As we face increasingly unpredictable climates, we believe in the power of community resilience. By focusing on sustainable gardening and food production, we aim to foster a more self-sufficient mountain community. In times of natural disaster or other challenges, the more self-reliant we become, the more resilient we can be.

We offer monthly classes on a variety of topics, including:

  • Gardening techniques suited for mountain environments
  • Healthy lifestyles and nutrition
  • Sustainable food production
  • Soil health and composting
  • And much more!

The gardens are lovingly maintained by the Mountain Provisions Cooperative, and we welcome anyone interested in getting involved. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just getting started, there’s a place for you at the Twin Peaks Garden Learning Center.

Get Involved: If you're interested in learning more or volunteering, please reach out to us at hello@mountainprovisions.coop
