Virtual Activities and Recreation
The Rim of the World Recreation and Park District would like to help keep our community active and supported in the midst of the disappointing cancellations and temporary closures. Our intent is to provide our residents with some webpage and social media information and resources to offer virtual ways to keep our minds and bodies active.
The information provided below are ideas from other Parks and Rec Service providers and are meant to help keep the Rim of the World mountain communites strong and together during the COVID-19 pandemic. We don't own the rights to any of the content and all activities are suggested and conducted at your own free will.

Nike Training Club - Mobil Application with free videos
87 Energy-Busting Indoor Games & Activities for Kids
Fluency and Fitness - Educational games and activites that review literacy and math skills, while getting some exercize. This program is for children ages 4-8.
Outdoor Activities, Here are some ideas:

- Walk/Run around your neighborhood and say hi (from a distance) to all your neighbors who are outside too
- Go for drive - Take a scenic drive around town or off-roading in your registered off-roading vehicle. Visit the San Bernardino National Forest website for laws and more information www.fs.usda.gov/sbnf. Think and be safe!
Be Mindfull - Mindfulness is a type of meditation in which you focus on being intensely aware of what you're sensing and feelign in the moment, without interuption or judgement. Practicing mindfulness involves breathing methods, guided imagery, and other practices to relax the body and mind and help reduce stress
