The Twin Peaks Harich Ball Field is named in honor of Joe Harich, a founding board member of the Rim of the World Recreation and Park District whose vision, leadership, and dedication helped shape recreation in the mountain communities. As one of the District’s founding leaders, Joe played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding parks, recreational programs, and community facilities throughout the Rim of the World area.
Among his most significant contributions was his leadership in the development and construction of community ball fields, creating spaces where generations of local youth and adults could participate in baseball, softball, and community events. His commitment to providing quality recreational opportunities helped foster community pride, healthy lifestyles, and lasting traditions throughout the mountain region.
