RIMREC Youth NFL Flag Football

Registration opens Monday, March 30th. 

Open to Boys and Girls | Ages 6-13 yrs. | $140 per participant 

Games: Wednesday & Friday Nights 6/3 - 7/10 includes playoffs and "Super Bowl" Championship games. 

Skills day will be emailed to registered participants. Please make sure your email address on your RIMREC account is accurate and check your spam folder as well. 

Get ready to dust off those football cleats, because RimRec is bringing NFL Flag Football back to the mountains this summer! A favorite up here in our mountain community, NFL Flag is returning for another exciting season, and we’re looking forward to seeing players back on the field and new players, looking to have some fun.

This coed league is a great opportunity for boys and girls to learn the game, compete, and most importantly have fun in a positive and energetic environment.

Games will be played Wednesday and Friday evenings under the lights at Caplinger Field in Running Springs, which always makes for an exciting atmosphere for players and families alike.

Practices may begin in May, giving teams time to learn plays, build teamwork, and get comfortable before the season officially kicks off on June 3rd. The regular season will run through early July, with playoffs scheduled for July 8th and July 10th, where teams will battle it out in the Super Bowl for the championship.

NFL Flag is a fantastic way for young athletes to develop football skills like; passing, catching, route running, and teamwork—without the contact of traditional tackle football. The game emphasizes speed, strategy, and sportsmanship, making it a great introduction to football for beginners while still being competitive and exciting for experienced players. It’s also a great way for kids to stay active, make new friends, and build confidence on and off the field.
