RFP for Robert Hootman Community Center

Rim of the World Recreation and Park District is accepting bids for the improvement of the Robert Hootman Community Center

All prospective bidders are advised of the following:

No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.

The following will be awarded as individual or grouped bids (job specs will be available after mandatory job walk)

HC01- Purchase and installation of a heating and air- conditioning system

HC02- Purchase and installation of energy efficient windows

HC03-Purchase and Installation of generator to mitigate power outages

The mandatory job walk will take place at the Hootman Community Center located at

2929 Running Springs School Road, Running Springs, CA 92382

Thursday, May 26th, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

No applications will be accepted if the contractor/ rep. is not present for the mandatory job walk.

Sealed bids will be due by June 9th, 2022, by 5:00 pm at the Rim of the World Recreation and Park District office located at 26577 State Highway 18, Rimforest, CA 92378

or electronically at jhueter@rim-rec.org by June 9th by 5:00pm.

Selections will be based on price, experience, past performance, availability, and timeline.

All jobs must be completed by January 2023
