The Park District is deeply saddened by the passing of Bruce Daniels. As a founding force behind the Rim of the World Recreation and Park District and its first Board Chair, Bruce's vision and leadership helped shape the very foundation of our community. He was a key figure in the “barn raising” of the Twin Peaks Community Center, where he joined others in building it with remarkable dedication over a single weekend. Bruce was also instrumental in the creation and care of the Lake Gregory Ball Fields, reflecting his lifelong commitment to enriching the lives of those around him.

His contributions have left a lasting and meaningful legacy throughout our mountain communities. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
