"Tucker" Arrowbear's NEW Climbing Bear

Introducing "Tucker" the climbing Bear. A new feature at Arrowbear Park. Thank you to all those that came out to support the Park District in helping name the climbing bear and celebreate Parks and Recreation Month.

Proposition 68, the Parks, Environment, and Water Bond Act of 2018, has provided vital financial support for California's parks and recreational spaces. Through an application process, the Rim of the World Recreation and Park District’s Arrowbear Park qualified as a recipient. Through thoughtful planning and collaboration, these funds have been allocated to enhance Arrowbear Park, with the following features:

  • Climbing Bear in Playground: Fitting that Arrowbear Park should have its own bear, this loveable climbing structure, modern in equipment awaits young adventurers designed to inspire active play and imaginative exploration.
  • Cantilever Shade Structure: The shade structure will expand the ball field seating area and picnic area providing visitors with a more comfortable spot to enjoy meals with family and friends and watch a baseball game.
  • Playground Swings: Upgraded swings will be added to the playground.
