Gymnastics, Ballet & Tap Combo Class
Ages 3.5–9 | 10 Weeks
Three activities in one class! Altitude FitKids’ Gymnastics, Ballet & Tap Combo Class gives children the opportunity to explore multiple movement styles in a single program, maximizing exposure to different genres while building coordination, strength, rhythm, creativity, and confidence in a fun, encouraging environment. This variety allows students to develop a broader range of physical and creative skills than a single-discipline class, all in one weekly experience.
Students explore beginner gymnastics using a variety of equipment, including beams, bars, vault, rings, ropes, tumbling mats, and rotating activity stations that build strength, coordination, flexibility, and confidence through diverse movement experiences. They develop a strong foundation in ballet through age-appropriate instruction focused on posture, balance, coordination, musicality, and basic ballet vocabulary, while also building grace, body awareness, and expressive movement skills. Students also learn introductory tap focused on rhythm, timing, listening skills, and musicality, with each class blending structured instruction, music, games, and creative movement activities that keep children engaged, active, and excited to learn.
With small class sizes and a low coach-to-student ratio, every child receives individualized attention and support while progressing at their own pace. It’s a well-rounded, engaging experience that combines skill-building, confidence-building, and active fun in one program.
