Run Through the Pines | Lake Gregory, Crestline, CA

Run Through the Pines

Part of the NEW "San Bernardino Mountain Lake Series"!

This will be the 43rd Run Through the Pines and the best one yet! We have made some major changes and have taken in all the input we received last year. For example; new expanded age divisions with 5 year age spans for awards and new finisher medals too.

The best part, the Run Through the Pines is part of the "San Bernardino Mountain Lake Series". Which includes the Keller Peak Run and the Green Valley Lake Run. We encourage all runners to Rack this Series! More information coming soon!

We are currently working on new things to add to the Run Through the Pines to ensure a good racing experience. We hope to see you on August 10, 2024.

More about the Run...

The Run Through the Pines is a destination run and a San Bernardino, Rim Mountain Community Event . It is one of the longest "running" runs in Southern California (the first one was in 1979). It features a 10K and 5K run (or walk) around Lake Gregory and through a pine tree forest.  Runners (and walkers) can enjoy a semi-paved course at a 4,720 foot elevation, which makes it a perfect little challenge for mountain locals and especially our friends from down the hill. Race day staging is at the San Moritz Lodge “Meadow” area near the Lake Gregory Company bait and tackle shop. We encourage participants of all levels, children in strollers, pets on a leash, and especially teams/groups.

Lake Gregory is located in Crestline, a charming little town filled with one-of-a-kind shops and restaurants. We encourage all runners to stay the weekend and enjoy the town.
