Our Mission

To help enrich and fulfill the lives of the citizens through the provision of facilities and programs that will provide and enhance creative, wholesome and imaginative leisure time living patterns.

District Profile

The Rim of the World Recreation and Park District encompasses a vast area of approximately 110 square miles, or more than 70,000 acres.  Boundaries of the Park District includes a number of communities, Blue Jay, Crestline, Green Valley Lake, Lake Arrowhead, Rimforest and Running Springs.  All communities within the Park District are unincorporated and therefore subject to land use and other authority from the County of San Bernardino.

The Park District maintains several park facilities and permanent structures.

Office Hours

The Park District office is open Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  The office is located at 26577 State Highway 18 in Rimforest next to the Elks Lodge.
