Health and Safety
This week participants will get a visit from representatives from Mountains Community Hospital, the Twin Peaks Sheriff's Station, Highway Patrol, Park Rangers, and possibly the Fire Department. We will learn about eating the right foods, fitness, and the big world around us.
Science and the Arts
This week participants will act as scientist and discover and learn cool projects. They will also be actors on stage, learning a play, creating costumes, and perform what they learned at the end of the week.
Sports and the USA
This week we are wearing our RED, WHITE, and BLUE and learning about all things Sports.
7/5-7/8 (4 day week)
This week will be super silly. Dress in silly clothes and come ready to learn funny jokes and enjoy wacky activities that include face painting, juggling, acrobatics, and skits.
Carnival of Champions
On your mark, get set, GO! Explore the events of Track & Field, try to beat yourself at "Baskets per Minute", and rally with us as we take on fun obstacle courses. This week we will all be Champions!
Cooking and Crafts
Let's get our aprons and become master chefs. We will be baking cookies, cakes and decorating them too. We will learn about measurements, how to follow a recipe, kitchen safety, and creating balanced healthy meals. We will also make some not so healthy meals too, but everything will be yummy! :)
Fun in the Sun
Every week will include some fun in the sun, but this week especially. We will hike, go on a scavenger hunt, plant trees and flowers, learn about our earth, and set-up camp outside.
Summer’s End Palooza
Last week of camp includes crazy hair, crazy socks, and crazy hats to end summer on a fun note. We will have dance parties, pizza parties, and a special surprise this last week before we all head off to school.
All weekly activities are subject to change. All weeks include other activities such as outdoor play and inside games and activities. All participants must bring a lunch, extra snacks, sunblock, water bottle, swimsuit, a towel and wear tennis shoes. More information will be sent out to parents on a weekly basis for preparation for that week. Please check your email address and make sure your email address is up to date on your account.
