PUBLIC COMMENT Instructions
This is the opportunity for members of the public to address the Board of Directors on issues that do not appear on the agenda. For items included in the agenda, public comments will be addressed at the time the item is up for discussion on the agenda.
Members of the public wishing to address the board should email their Request to Speak to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5:00 pm on the day of the Board Meeting. In the subject line, please write “Request to Speak” when sending your email. Please include your name, the item(s) you wish to comment. The General Manager will call the speakers in turn and each speaker will be limited to 3 minutes, per Government Code 54954.3 (a - c) with 30 minutes being allowed for all comments. Any public comment beyond the initial 30 minutes may be heard at the conclusion of the agenda. The Chairperson has the discretion to lengthen or shorten the allotted times. State law prohibits the Board of Directors from taking action on items not included on the printed agenda.
