ROW Recreation and Park District Youth Basketball - 2008 Season - Parent/Player Evaluation

Thanks for taking the time to complete this short survey providing feedback on your experience with the ROW Recreation and Park District Youth Basketball 2008 Season.  This process is critical to the League ensuring the quality of the program. This evaluation may be completed by the player or the parent on the player’s behalf.  The survey may be submitted anonymously or you may include your name if you would like.  Individual surveys will be summarized by division and team; coaches will only be provided summary information.  If you have two players in the league, please complete a form for each, unless they are on the same team and had comparable experiences.

Tell us what you think about our YOUTH BASKETBALL PROGRAM.  With budget cuts on the horizon, and the Youth Basketball Program a ROWRPD fully supported program, you input will be vital to either keeping or cutting programs.  We welcome all of your comments and suggestions.

1. The coach well organized.
2. The coach helped my child increase his/her basketball skills and knowledge.
3. The coach’s demeanor toward players, parents and officials was appropriate and sportsmanlike at all times.
4. The coach ran effective practices.
5. The coach was fair and balanced in his treatment of each player (attention, playing time, support, encouragement).
6. My child’s coach should be given the opportunity to coach again next year.
7. Overall, the coach was a positive factor in my child’s experience this season.
8. Officiating was acceptable in terms of calling the game according to the rules, impartiality.
