Heartsaver
CPR
This class will teach CPR basics for adult, child
and infant, foreign body airway obstruction and rescue
breathing. You will
learn both 1-rescuer and 2-rescuer methods. Participants that complete
the course satisfactorily will receive a card from the American
Heart Association.
This card will be valid for 2 years.

Heartsaver
First Aid
Heartsaver First Aid
will teach basic first aid skills for shock, bleeding, broken
bones, sprains, stroke, seizures, choking, burns, bites, stings
and more. This program will also teach signs of common
emergencies. Students who successfully complete the course will
receive a Heartsaver First Aid card from the American Heart
Association.

Tony is a certified BLS (Basic Life
Support) instructor for 10 years and an Emergency Medical
Technician with American Medical Response for 11 years. He was a
former firefighter for 10 years with the Crest Forest Fire
Department. Tony
brings real-world concepts and real-life stories
where the skills students are developing have been - and
are - applied.
He is an authorized class provider by the American Heart
Association.

Polynesian
Dance
Come learn the dances
and cultures of the Pacific Islands: Hawaiian, Tahitian, Maori and
Samoan. Both traditional (Kahiko) and Modern (Awana) hula dances
are taught. There are classes for all ages from 4 years to
104 years. Classes range from beginner to advanced
levels. Pre-registration is required. Come into the
District office to sign-up.

Japanese
Karate-Do is an art form where you learn basic and advanced
techniques of SHITO-RYU KARATE, including various blocks, strikes,
stances, kicks, sweeps, throws, take downs, choke holds, joint
locks, pressure points and counter moves.

MMA
You can enjoy the physical beauty of this art
form at the same time learn to defend yourself while you tone,
