Parenting Classes
ROWRPD
is taking registrations for the Dynamics for Success: Parenting
Classes. Classes are structured as "Open Book", learn at your
own pace, open entrance, open exit. Some of the topics covered
are: Identify your parenting style, Self-Esteem and personality,
Getting your child to cooperate, Discipline that makes sense, Putting
structure into your home, Single parenting, Talk about divorce and
blended families. Pre-registration is required.

Polynesian Dance
Come learn the dances
and cultures of the Pacific Islands: Hawaiian, Tahitian, Maori and
Samoan. Both traditional (Kahiko) and Modern (Awana) hula dances are
taught. There are classes for all ages from 4 years to 104
years. Classes range from beginner to advanced levels.
Pre-registration is required. Come into the District office to
sign-up.

Karate - Do
Japanese Karate-Do is
an art form where you learn basic and advanced techniques of SHITO-RYU
KARATE, including various blocks, strikes, stances, kicks, sweeps,

counter moves.

Equestrian Clinic
The BASIC four
week clinic will consist of a hands-on opportunity to learn and
demonstrate the basics of being on and around horses. You will
learn about the importance of horse safety, how to approach a stabled
horse, lead the horse, proper tying, how to groom and tack up, as well
as mounting and dismounting techniques. You will learn to walk
your horse, riding, balance, turning, halting and riding a figure 8.
A certificate will be awarded upon completion.
